Dentifrice: i: e: powder to

Dissolve in 4 ounces of warmer water 4 drams
of gumm Dragagoni & in one Night itt will
be like a Jolly; mingle, the same with the
powder of Allabaster finely ground & seariAeds
make up this substomie into little round rolles
you may temper a littles roffett with itt and
make itt of a pleasering Coulour

Take strong stale Beer & boyle itt with crums
of wheaten household Bread & a peice of fresh
Butter and when itt is boyled, put a little Tump on time
stirr itt in, butt; but not boyle itt in, soe dress
itt twice a day, as hott as itt may be on durers
this will draw & cleanse itt, though itt have
many boles; you need not tent itt

A Ripeing Powltiss

Take halfe of figgs 4 ounces with some
white lilly rootes roast the rootes bruises
the figgs & mingle a little oylo of Roses
among them & soe make itt into a poultisse

A good purge

Take halfe an ounce of senar a pennyworth
of wormeseed amnisseeds; or fennell seed as
murh as will fill a large thimble & a little
Liquorish, bruise all in a mortar, & infuse them
in white wine & water of each a Quarter of a pint
and in your the morning boyle them till mow then
half be wasted then straine itt & add to itt 2
large spoonfulls of swirope of bioletts mixe them
and lott the partir drinks itt warms betimes in the
morning & am house after itt a draught of both
