September 1
Moderate to fresh breeze North these 24 hours with fair weather and some thick fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day. Barometer 30.00 to 30.06 - Had thirteen visitors - 1st and 2nd assts. showing visitors in Tower. 1st asst. went to Newport after mail supplies.

September 2
Moderate to fresh breeze North these 24 hours with fair and warm weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.06 to 29.88. Had six visitors - Keeper and assts cleaning inside of tower and whitewashing - Keeper went to Newport after supplies.

September 3
Moderate breeze to light North wind these 24 hours with fair and warm weather - Sea smooth - Keeper and assts. putting 200 Gallons of oil in oil butts and scrubbing hall work room and watch room floors. Barometer 29.88 to 29.82 - 1st assistant went fishing and showing visitors in tower - Had nine visitors - 2nd asst. went to Toledo after some fruit and supplies - Left the station at 10:00 AM.

September 4
Light South wind these 24 hours with fair weather and high dry fog - Sea smooth - Keeper painting on fence - Barometer 29.80. 1st asst. went to Newport after supplies and polishing brass work in lantern - Keeper and 1st asst. showing visitors in Tower. 2nd asst. returned to station at 6 PM.

September 5
Light South wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours damp - Last part of 24 hours light rain showers and fair weather. Sea smooth - General duties for day - Barometer 29.70 to 29.04 - 1st asst polishing brass work and went fishing - Keeper and 2nd asst went to Newport after supplies.

September 6
Moderate and fresh breeze south these 24 hours with light rain showers - Barometer 29.84 - General duties for day. 2nd asst showing 8 visitors in Tower.

7 Light west to south wind and cooler these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours frequent rain showers - Last part of 24 hours fair and warm - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.08 - 1st & 2nd assts polishing lamp & reflectors - 1st asst went fishing - 2nd asst went after wood on beach.

8 Light north and east wind to moderate breeze N. west these 24 hours - with clear fine weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.08 to 30.23 - 1st and 2nd assts showing twenty two visitors in tower - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies.

9 Light north wind and calm these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours clear fine weather - Last part of 24 hours heigh dry fog & warm - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.28 - Keeper painting on fence - 1st asst digging potatoes & showing 16 visitors in tower - 2nd asst washing.

10 Moderate & fresh breeze north these 24 hours with frequent rain showers during 24 hours - Sea quite rough - Barometer 30.28 to 30.18 - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies - Had five visitors - 1st asst went fishing - 1st & 2nd assts showing visitors in the tower.

11 Moderate breeze to light north wind first part of 24 hours with damp weather - Last part of 24 hours moderate to fresh breeze S. to S. west with rain - Sea quite rough - Barometer 30.18 to 29.82 - Had thirty six visitors today - Keeper & assts showing visitors in tower - Keeper putting windows in dwelling - 2nd asst digging potatoes - 1st asst cleaning in his quarters.

12 Fresh breeze south and north with rain showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light north wind with fair and warm weather - Sea very rough - Barometer 29.65 to 29.85 - 1st asst sticking lumber - Keeper & 2nd asst went to Newport after supplies.

13 Light variable winds to moderate breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours cloudy & dry - Last part of 24 hours fair and hazy - Sea quite rough - Barometer 29.85 to 30.08 - General duties for the day - 1st asst fishing and to Newport after mail & supplies - 2nd asst went after blackberries 2 miles from sta - U.S. Tender Collumbine crossed into Yaquina at 3:30 P.M. did not locate her in time to hoist ensign.

14 Light N. to south wind and moderate breeze north these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.08 to 30.16 - General duteis for the day - 1st asst went fishing - Keeper & 2nd asst sweeping out shop & hen house - 2nd asst went after berries 2 miles from sta.

15 Light north wind these 24 hours with clear fine & warm weather - Sea very smooth - Barometer 30.16 to 30.06 - General duties for the day - 1st asst showing twelve visitors in tower - Keeper & assts putting hay into the barn - Light Tender Columbine crossed out of Yaquina & steamed north at 4:30 P.M.

16 Light north wind these 24 hours with clear fine & warm weather - Sea very smooth - Barometer 30.06 - 1st and 2nd assts putting hay into the barn - 1st and 2nd assts showing five visitors in tower - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies.
