Oil of Charity

Take Lavender, & St Johns wort, Rosemary
Lavender cotton, Penyroyal, Caomile, Rue
Balm, adderstongue, Featherfue, Blood wort
wormwood, Red sage, Chouch grass, Chariz or
Jacobs ladder, marsh mallows, Dwarf Elder
Solomons seal, of each one Handfull,
Chop them small & put them in to 2 quarts
of the best Oil, in a glass or stone jar,
Let them stand 15 Days in the Sun
String it often, strain it out & put in
the same Quantity of Herbs, as before, Leting it
stand 15 Days longer then strain the
Herbs out & boil it in a Pipkin over a
Clear Fire, then take it of, let it stand
till the next day, & pour of the clear in

NotaBene 2 Handfulls of addersspears, must be
put in the first time
& 1 handfull of water Bittany each time:
