To make a salve from the Herbs of the oil Charity

To the Herbs that are Straind out, take half a pint
of Linseed Oil & put to them, & strain the herbs, from
the Linseed oil, & put to it the settleings of the first herbs
with a Quarter of a Pound of Red Led, 2 ounces of
Turpintine, 2 ounces of Rosin, 4 ounces of Bees wax
set it on a gentle fire stiring it till all disolved
then boil it till it comes to a salve. It is good for
Bruises or wounds, or a sore breast a good
scar cloth for pains or Aches, It must be boild
some hours, till it looks black, then Pour it into
water make it in roles, puting a peice of bladder
on it.

Mock Asses milk

Take 2 ounces of pearl Barly, 2 of Hartshorn shavings 2 of [Eringe]
root candid, 20 snails in shells; Boil them in 3 pints
of water till it comes to a Quart strain it out
and take 2 spoonfuls every morning fasting, in 4
spoonfuls of new milk warm, These Ingredients
must be fresh made in 3 or 4 Days
