2 ouncesof Bottle Gunpowder
1 ounces of brown mustard seed bruised
1 ounce of Bark

To be put in a Quart of Mountain Wine
frequently shook for 24 Hours then it
will be fit for use, Then it will be fit
for use, and a Wine glass full to be taken
three times a Day

For a Cough

Take Three Spoonfuls of Sweet Oil
Six Spoonfuls of Peppermint Water
a little Fine Sugar, a few drops
of Hartshorn, shake it well together
& take a Table spoonful now & then:
