Dissolve 2 ounces of corrosive Sablimate
in one Quart of Spirits of wine
to be used with a Brush

For a Fever

one Ounce of Bark Chips, put into
3 Pints of Water & boil till its reduced to
a Quart, Let it stand constantly by the
Fire, A Tea Cup full must be taken
at Eleven & four in the Afternoon
just warm with a Tea Spoonful of
Lavender Drops or a little small
Pepper Mint Water; It must be taken
Constantly till the Fever is quite removed
