A powder to take away a wean
Take tow or 3 small bones of a dead body yt ye flesh is consumed in ye breaking up of graves you may find y[m] burn thes bones let ym be red hot yn wn they be cold beat ym to powder & searse them through a fine peice of tifeny & keep it in a box & straw of this powder on ye ween 2 or 3 tymes a day this will wast ye wean away by degrees you must tye a Cloth on ye place to keep ye powder from falling off

Take ye clay of from an house yt is made of mud or clay walles & mix it wth some of ye fact & spitle comes from one in a morning till it be thin enough to spread on ye wean & so keep doeing dayly & it will walt it for ye dropsie

To cause Urine where there is a totall obstruction thereof or for a dropse very good
Take 9 Bees dryed into powdere & take this quantity at night & mornings wn you goe to bed in be a Spoonfull of bere or wine or poset drinke & fast an hower or tow this hath done great cuers

Do Willis Receipt for a dropsey
Take tow pound of green walnutes shells & all, four pound of green Elder berryes beat ym in a ston morter yn Infuse ym in 3 pintes of whit wine & 3 pintes of sack 24 howers yn still it in an ordinary still & let ye patint drinke of it 3 tymes a day morning noon & night or if they please ofener, you may allso give ye powder of nine bees morning & Evening wch is a great provoker of urine

To cuer a dropsie or leges yt are swell'd
eat for 2 mounths together a head of garlick wch bread & butter in ye morning fasting & drinke after it worm wood bear & then walk after it & drink another draught wn you Come in & to your Super take it so again if you cannot take so much garlick take as much as you are able you may drink your drink pretty strong & boyle in your [wort] a handfull of sage & of green brome & garden scurvigrase & 4 handfull of ye Inner rind of Elder to 4 galonds of drinke & drink no other drink thes 2 thinges cured one I knew yt had spent much mony befor he met wth this receipt

A drinke they may take at thir meales & all tymes for a dropsie
Take of ye topp of pine & [firne] of each 2 handfulls let ym be boyled in 5 galonds of new [wort] till one galon is wasted then strain it & work it up wth barme as ordinarly then tun it up & wn it has done purging in ye barill then hang in it in a bag ye under writen things
Take of ye outward bark of parsly finill & dandilion roots of each 5 ounces of ye topes of brome & Elder Flowers of each 3 handfulls, of Juniper berrys & winteran bark of each 2 ounces

A Receipt for ye dropsie
Take a good handfull of brome & 2 handfulls of Bean stalks wch makes a good fire shoock of ashes & put it into 4 quarts of Ayle boyle it till it comes to 2 quarts & then take a quarter of a pint in ye morning & at 4 a clock in ye after noon & drop 10 dropes of ye oyle of Turpentine into every draught
Ride about in ye aire after you have took your dose & it will Jog down ye dropsie in your stomach & will cause you to make water strangly
A dropsie must be cured by Urine not by Phisick
Take ye powder of bees as such as will lye on a shilling & drinke it in whit wine or wormwood ale & be suer not to bleed & drink [any] small bear
{No [clarif] watter [breeut] it but drink wormwood ayle sack whit wine some cyder}
