Take 3 pintes of mild alle & boyle in it half an ounce of turmerick very finly beaten & a quarter of a pound of corands let y^m boyle gently a quarter of an hower together, & let y^e party drinck a quarter of a pinte of it, & eate y^e Corands w^th 2 or 3 tymes in a day, y^e Corands must allso be brused & beaten befor you boyle y^m

Another for y^e Jaundice
Take a pint of whit wine half an ouce of Sena 20 earth wormes y^t are long w^ch must be covered all night to cleanse the earth from them cut y[m] in peices & infuse thes w[th] y[e] wine & sena warme for a night or a day a drinke half a pinte in a morning, & soe doe for 3 or 4 mornings together fasting as you se occasion for it will purge them

Another for y^e
Take 5 spoonfulls of y^e Juce of Hartechoke leaves for 5 dayes together every morning fasting, & eat nothing for 2 howers after it, this is much comended

A Plaster for a [Ruinseg]
Take figs 4 ounces, Album greekum half an ouce; flower of Brimstone long peper each one drame Brandy 2 ounces Chymecall oyl of wormwood 18 dropes; Diacordrum one ounce pagens dunge 2 ounces beat all in a mortar till well mixt lay it to y^e throat from ear to ear warm & renew it as often as it dryeth
