Take neat foot oyl & brandy & mix them together & very well rub it in befor y^e fire, & this hath helpt them y^t have been bowed together
Allso oyl of marshmalows mixt w^th spirit of wine & well rubed in morning & Evening is very good for straines & bruses

Take oyle of wormes & aquivita & mix it together & first rub y^e place well wth a warm dry cloth & then chafe y^e oyle in

Take your own watter & heat, & old peice of Iron hot & quench it in your own watter & so bath y^e part w^th it allso whit wine vinagar hot & rubed in to y^e part streingthens it

Good for an Inward bruse
Take 2 ounces of conserve of red roses & one ounce of Lucatelles balsom balsom & mix it together & take as much as a nutmege morning & night y^e first & last thinge you take & drinke of this ale poset drinke folowing about a quarter or more of a pinte as warme as you can, make all poset drinke about a quart & boyle it 2 or 3 roots of malowes well scraped and sliced half an ounce of licoras & half a handfull of moringwort let y^e thinges lye in your poset drinke till you have taken all this quantity & then sweeten your poset drinke w^th some common treacle you may continue this till you are mended this has helped thos y^t have spit blood upon a bruse

Take live pigions & pull of y^e feathers near y^e vent hole & aply y^t vent hole to y^e place bitten & as y^t pigon dyes lay on another till they live but take care you doe not smother y^e pigeon in holding it
