Pineapple Whip Pie
Scald ¾ C. milk in double boiler.
Beat 2 egg yolks slightly add ¼ C.
sugar and ⅛ t. salt. Add to milk and
stir and cook over hot water until
mixture coats spoon. Remove. Add
2 t. gelatin soaked in 3 Tb. cold water
for 5 min and stir until dissolved Add
½ t. vanilla and cool thoroly. then fold
in 1 C. cream whipped and 1 C. canned
pineapple tidbits, drained. Beat 2 eggs
