Remove and add gelatin, stir-
ring until dissolved. Cool and chill
until it begins to thicken. Beat 2
egg whites until stiff but not dry
Slowly adding sugar while beating
fold meringue and ½ C. cream, whipped
into cranberry mixture. Pour into
shell and chill.

Seafood Chowder


2" cube salt pork 1 8oz can salmon
½ C. sliced onions 1 6½oz can crabmeat
2 C. hot water 4 C. milk
1¾ C. potatoes, cut in narrow strips
1 t. salt
¼ t. pepper

Saute salt pork, cut in very
small pieces until golden brown. Add
onions, water, salt, pepper. Cover and cook
until potatoes are tender, about 25 min
Add salmon in large pieces and crabmeat
Add milk and heat. Serves 4-6
