Cynomon Water {199}
Take 2 pounds of the best Cynomon & Bruse it, halfe a pound Cytorn and
orrange pile a quarter of an ounce of Curriander seeds, steeped
In 3 Gallons of Malligo Sack 2 dayes then distill them In a worm still
& sweeten with suger disolved I Red Rose water, this water hath bin
highly Esteemed for the tast/

Spirit of Cytorns
Take 3 pounds of the purest Rinds of Cytornes fresh taken of Infuse them
Into 3 gallons of Sack, let these stand 20 dayes, then still them In a glasse
still close clutted up; and draw of all the strong & keep it in a con=
venent close vessell close stopt; then take 3 pounds more of the rinds of fresh
Cytorns, & still them In a cold still with A quart of white wine, draw of 3
pints of that, [R] take 3 pounds of suger candie disolved In a pint of Red --
Rosewater, then put all to your first spirit Into a large Bottle with --
6 graines of Ambergreece rubd Into powder with a Little fine
suger, & put It Into a piece of Tiffanie & hand it Into your bottle
It is a geat Cordiall & the best of spirits/

Almon Milk
Take voilet Leaves strawberrie Leaves sinefile of each one
handfull & of Liqurrish the like boyle these In a pound of Barley
water untill the 3d part be wasted, then take one handfull of Almons
blancht & 2 ounces of suger, beat those In a Morter very small
& straine them In the Barley water & straine all through a thick
cloth & put Into It 2 spoonfulls of Rosewater, & It needbe put the
4 Cooling seeds be at with the Almons & If you please put In one
ounce of poppyseeds to procure rest/

Strawberrie Leaves Voylet Leaves Buglasse & Burrage Leaves
succery Mallowes sinefile Maiden haire Reasons stond and some
Lyqurish serapt & boyle that together In Barley water, 1/2 a pound of Reasons
1/2 a pound of Almons 1/2 a pound of french Barley & order it as before/
