Home of tranquility for one of bustle and danger. I feel myself
weak and inadequate to the important work - but Jesus is strong.
Pray to Him for me (for he does hear and answer prayers) and take no
denial, that He would Gloryfy Himself by making a poor weak person
like warm in some respects useful in 'this cause tho' it be but as
a hewer of wood and drawn of water - Nothing is too hard for Jesus.
Pray to the Wonderful Countenance that I may be made of some service
as a [indecipherable]. Tho' I have neither evidence, talents, nor learning for a Master builder. Pray to Him in whom dwelleth the [indecipherable] of
the God head bodily. for a great outpouring of His Eternal Spirit upon
me. That he would give me the spirit of Love of Jesus and of a
sound mind, and fill me with all the [indecipherable] of God.
give me sincere faithfulness - strong patience - [indecipherable] courage,
and fervent Zeal - That he would take away from me the fear
of man, and fill me for the work that lieth before me
in every respect - I stand in need of all these mercys.

Our time is short & the bustle of getting

to be with Jesus, will be Heaven enough for T H & I know for T H
too - he will wipe all tears from our Eyes & we will sing worthy
