Had a long talk with two
French soldiers of the 140 Infantry.

Rained all day, and was
very cold. Went to Loupeigne
in the evening. Walked over
with Bert, and Bud Champlin.
Got soaked through on our
way home. Got home at 11:30.

Sunday July 1 '17.

Left camp at [1?]:45 for
Bazochez by Brain. Roads
very muddy. Took a load of
logs to Crouy in back of
Soissons. The first time
that Ben & I went out together
on No 6. Got home 6 P.M.
