The next day we wento to
what they call the old city of
Shanghai. There were some old
temples and park we went through
they say were four hundred years
old. The streets are only about
six feet wide. There are so
many people that it looks
like they live and die in the
vacinity of there houses. Every
thing is pulled around by
man power, even when they
have a funeral two men
carry the coffin. Every body has
to ride around in a rick asha
it is the same way in Japan
and even more so than
in China. It dont matter how
big the load is they pull it
through the streets on two wheel
carts them selves.
