harbor. I suppose if you
knew I was out on the
Atlantic you would be
worried to death about
submarines, which we are
hoping one will show
up. I would like to see
one of the destroyers take
after it, or see it fired
on by the gun on this
ship. Excitement is what we
crave.
We struck some
heavy weather the second
day out. The waves were
splashing all over the
decks and the ship rocked
