Ther. TUES. MAR 1st, 1898 Wind

After breakfast Willie & Fanny &
the baby went back to Fairfield. Edwd.
also drove to "Fairfield" to help
Willie with some work he had on
hand. I went to the Store & Smith
shop, also to the mill. Afternoon
Miss Mary Fowler came over
to see Dora. I walked down to
Ashton & back. I also went
over to the School House to
return some books we had
borrowed from the library.

Ther. WED. MAR. 2d, 1898 Wind

Quite cloudy this morning
and commenced snowing at
about 11 0'clock and has continued
ever since up to bedtime tonight.
I telephoned to Edward at Brighton
to meet me with the horse & buggy
at "Riverside," & started to walk
there, meeting Edwd on the road
we went the ballance of the way
together; found bro. C. in a semi
conscious condition, am not sure
he recognized me. I rode to
Ashton from "Riverside" with Ernest
& walked home from there. Edwd
coming home later with the
horse & buggy. Went to the mill
& to the store & P.O. Wrote to sister
Harriet. Harry Fairall was here
afternoon to practice with Edwd,
