Sat 25 The morning is partially clear, the ground froze & a heavy frost
The Wind is still in the N. & W. In the evening the Wind has
changed to the East & South East Still continuing partially
clear. Thomas has been verry busy today fixing up his stove
David ) in the carrage house intending to eat in the office & cook
Porter & (
son Wm ) in the Carrage house, cousin David Porter & his son William
from Oxford came late in the evening & stayed with us all night
William William came home for the 1st time since last Monday morning
The Circuit Cort has adjourned until Court in Corse God Save
the State & curs this Radical Court altho the Court is I
understand discharging his oficial duty verry well yet he is
disgracing the bench by his radical Negro rule & Negro suffrage
principles, how long will this state of things continue We hope
for a change for the better.
