Dr Sir

On reexamining my estimate, I find that accidentaly, I ommitted to allow any percentage for contingencies, the $1050 just covering the expenses I think it would be safer to ask for the appropriation of $1200 to cover all Respectfully J.W. Lovering -

Mt. Auburn

S.T. Snow Esq

Dear Sir

I estimate the cost of completing the new greenhouse at $1050 (one thousand & fifty dollars) This provides for connecting the pipes which all to heat it with the furnace in the work room which now heats No 4 and No 5, and which would probably prove powerful enough except in the coldest weather, & even then it may do.

Should it be found insufficient, I would suggest that a small furnace be placed near the present are in the workshop, the pipes of both to connect with all three houses, so that either furnace could be used alone or both could be used in severe weather.

House No 3 is now heated by a furnace in the corner next Mt. Auburn St. The house is rather lightly built & may want some extensive repairs before very long - I would suggest that it might be desirable to dipense with the furnace in No 3 altogether, and connect it by pipes with the furnaces in the workshop - my idea being that it is most economical both in labor & fuel to have as few fires as possible.

Respectfully J.W. Lovering
