Trustees _
The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on ~
There were present the President, Messrs Cheever, Little, Livermore, Nazro, Norcross, Rand and Read. _
The record of the last meeting was read. _
Mr Norcross for the Comee on Lots stated that the Committee were not ready to report on the matters referred to them last month.
Claim of Thos. J. Bayley.
Mr Cheever to whom the claim of Thos J. Bayley was referred at the last meeting reported in part, that he could not find, from inquiry at the Cemetery, that Mr Bayley had any valid claim for damages.
Applicn for land at reduced rate _ referred to Com. on Lots _
An application was presented from Dr. Charles Cullis for a suitable lot of land in the Cemetery, at a reduced price, for the use of the "Home for Indigent and Incurable Consumptions." _
Voted that the same be referred to the Commitee on Lots to report thereon.
Supt. authorized to employ laborers in cutting trees during winter _
On motion of Mr Read,
Voted that the Superintendent be instructed to engage from six to twelve suitable laborers, to be employed through the winter, if necessary, in removing superfluous trees from the Cemetery, _ the work to be done with such caution as not to occasion damage to or in proprietors' lots, and under the dir-

Report upon cutting of trees _
The President for the Committee on Grounds submitted a Report of which the following is a copy: _
"That by statements of the Secretary the Superintendent has been furnished with a copy of the vote passed relative to removing trees in the Cemetery, and also that the Committee have furnished the Superintendent with written instructions as to the mode of performing this duty."
