Thursday Eve, Mar 15th, The mail closes tonight, so I must now finish my letter I have just written Mr. Tucker two letters one of which I shall enclose in this and I wish you to forward it to him ---

The other is to serve as a letter of introduction to him, for Mr. Chas. Zalusar [Charles Zalusar], the Gentleman of whom, I purchased my present business

He leaves here tomorrow morning for the Atlantic States with his family where he will reside for the present, for the purpose of buying up goods to send out here, to the firm of which he is a leading Member. ---

The steamer from Panama is now due here and I was in hopes she would arrive before I was obliged to close my letter, but I find I shall have to wait and answer the letter which I expect to receive from you when the Steamer does arrive, next week.

I am as well as usual this evening and I hope you are all well also.

I saw Mr Shipley today. He is well.

Give my love to Chas [Charles] & Hattie [Harriet], and the rest of our friends -- to Mrs Sawtelle in particular --

Your affct [affectionate] Son H. A. Parker [Henry A. Parker]

To Mrs Ann Parker E Pepperell Mass
