Saml T. Snow Esq. Ch. Comm. on Lots D Sir
I send you plan of lots #2940, 1 + 2. Mr I.H. Silsbee wishes to redivide them making #2940 + 2941 [first?] 300 ft. each, and the balance into one lot 380 ft. in rear.
Is there any objection to this?
Yours truly James W. Lovering

D Sir
The workmen employed in building yoru tomb have left on number of boards + considerable other rubbish over the next lot + the avenue much to the inquiry of the general appearance of the Cemetery, now that we are putting the lots in order.
If your tomb is in such a conspicuous place it is a source of much annoyance to others, + I would there fore, respectfuly request you to have the place put in order first as far as possible. and I am confident it can be much improved from its present condition. I can do it for you, reasonably if you wish Yrs truly
