On Thursday , Decoration Day. you will admit only Proprietors with vehicles, and you will respect passes for vehicles issued by the "John A. Andrew Post" G.A.R. to the extent of 30 (thirty) and no more. Please collect these passes & return to me. Vehicles in the procession will be allowed to enter, also persons on foot without passes.

I must respectfully request you on Saturday afternoons & on the afternoons before all holidays, to place no cut grass or other refuse piles in the Avenues or Paths, as it is to late to remove them. I would respectfuly request that A.A. Barker, J. Collins, G.F. Barrington, G.E.S. Hutchins and E.F. Young be appointed to act here as special police for the year 1874.

About a month ago I requested & obtained the appointment of E.F. Young as wey measurer & surveyor. If necessary that the appointment be renewed, I respectfuly request that it be renewed.
