John T. Bradlee Esq Prest. &c.

Dear Sir

I enclose you a sketch of proposed path & new lots in rear of Mrs Merrill's lot on Lime Avenue, which I think will leave as little waste land as any which will allow the ground to be divided into good shapes lots.

I would suggest that Mrs Merrill be asked to purchase the 660 ft enclosed in purple dotted lines, in the rear of her lot 2667, as ornamental ground. (she now owns the piece marked O.G. on plan)

On this piece of 660 ft would be room for a small fountain, and the balance could be laid out with shrubs or flowers. If she would also purchase the piece opposit 387 feet (about) as ornamental land it would greatly improve the remaining lots which would contain about 2861 feet.

I also enclose sketch of proposed paths on land East of the Well house, being the same now on the lithographed plan. I cannot find any record of this acceptance by the Trustees.

Respectfully J.W. Lovering
