Dear Sirs:-

Your note of 17th is received, and I have forwarded an application for a permit as directed. If when you make a contract for work in this cemetery you will ask the parties to put themselves in communication with our Boston Office (#5 Pemberton Sq.) the Secy will issue a permit on the application of the proprietor of the lot. This permit should be forwarded here or brought by the teamster with his first load.

Respectfully yours,

MRS. R. A. VINAL, SOMERVILLE.

Dear Madam:-

Your note is received. None of the marbles stand well out of doors, and the more elaborate the work the greater the liability to decay.

Respectfully yours, Supt.

J. H. ELLISON, Esq., WALTHAM.

Dear Sir:-

I have just seen your lot, and think it will compare favorably with lots that have the same provision for care. It may be that you made the comparison with some of our perpetual care lots, but there the amounts are large enough to cover special care, repairs and watering, and these will of course look better. I will have some grass seed sown in your lot which will help it somewhat.

Respectfully yours, Supt.
