James Anderson, Esq., New York.
Dear Sir:
In regard to the repairs lately made on your lot I would state that the steps were reset and the borders resoded, and it was intended that the flower beds be cut later, which has now been done. The stone fenders were removed at the same time as they do not appear to be needed.
Respectfully yours,
Supt.
Chas. L. Hayward, Esq., Boston.
Dear Sir:-
Your note is received, had your business been known at the office there would have no delay in attending to the matter. If you will appoint any week day that will suit you, either my assistant or I will meet you in the afternoon. The cemetery closes at 4.30 at this season. It is important that the matter should have early attention.
Respectfully yours,
Supt.
