Mr. Craddoc the gun Smith had a son to get drowned a week ago he was wading at Hicox mill when his foot slipt [slipped] and he could not swim so he was lost. our city is very pleasant healthy and improving very fast a number of familys [families] have come here to livee [live] and there seems to be a constant coming and going which which make our part of the town very lively every evening when the cars come in. I think to myself maybe my love is going surprise me to day [today] but I do not sit down and cry because you do not come but hope on trying to believe our seperation [separation] is all for the best and I try to wear as ceerfull [cheerful] a countenance as possible.
