Dear Sir: -

I find that your lot is in rather poor condition, the sodding needs to be repaired, and the fence is rusty and should be painted or removed. It would improve the lot to remove the fence and all the posts but four, recut these, cut the number of the lot on one of them and fill up and sod over the other post holes. This work can be done for the old material.

Your note is received. The gardener reports that the myrtle is now in as good condition as could be expected, but that the roots of the adjoining trees will not permit it to remain so long.
