Trustees _

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on Tuesday, , at 10 o'clock a.m. ~

There were present, the President, and Messrs Adams, Bowditch, Cheever and Norcross.

The record of the August Meeting was read.

Second & later intermts in Public Lots _

Mr Adams for the Committee on Intermnets asked further time, on question of second interment in the public lots. _

Report on purchase of Stone Meadow

The Secretary stated that the heirs of Cornelius Stone had executed deeds of their meadow east of the Cambridge Cemetery, containing five and 54375/10.000 acres, and had received of the Treasurer the stipulated price, viz $5.543.75 _

Application of Geo. Howe & al. to reconvey and receive new deeds _

The Secretary also presented the application of Messrs George and J. C. Howe and Samuel Johnson for leave to reconvey their lots numbered 671, 672, 673, to the Corporation, and receive new deeds of their land by the same numbers, but differently laid out according to a plan presented therewith: _

Voted to refer the application to the Committee on Lots.

and approved by the Committee on Lots, to , having been submitted by the Secretary in compliance with the By=Laws, it was

Voted, – that the said statement be accepted and placed on file.

Cont. for Perpet. Rep. with G. of Lots Nos 949 2613 et cet.

The Secretary having stated that the Committee on Lots had recommended the Trustees to guaranty the perpetual repair of Lot numbered 949 on Fir Avenue, belonging to Mary Bond, (Mrs Richard), of Cambridge, for the sum of Five hundred dollars; of Lot numbered 2613 on Bellwort Path of the late Prentiss Hobbs, deceased, for the sum of Four hundred and fifty dollars; and of Lots 3178, 3179, & 3180 on Lime Avenue in the name of Cyrus T. Clark & David A. Clark instead of in the name of Cyrus T. Clark alone, as originally concurred in ; – it was

Voted, – that the above named contracts be severally concurred in on the part of this Board.

Upon the petitions of the parties in interest, representatives were designated for Lots as follows; viz;

175 Ebenr D. Jordan of Boston, ^ address "care Wm N. Long" 242 Washn St Trustees under the will of Elijah Mears, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered One hundred & seventy=five.

307 John G. Tappan of Boston, ^12 Ashburton Place Son of John Tappan deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Three hundred and seven

671 673 George D. Howe of Boston, ^13 Exchange St(Room 20) Son of George Howe deceased prorpieter of Lot numbered Six hundred and seventy=one
