Dear Sir
Your note to Mr Collins in regard to lots 2890 & 91 is received. The shrubs have been removed, plants sent out in the borders and grass cut. You write that you wish the lots put in nice condition. Mr Collins is sick and has gone to New Hampshire for a 30 days vacation so I cannot tell just what conversation you had with him or what you desire done. I find they need grading and sodding badly and that the curbing needs resetting, cleaning and leading. (It has never been leaded)
This work is needed if you wish the lots put in first class order but as the cost will be $7000/100 I would not care to do anything before consulting you.
Very respectfully James W Lovering pr J.C.S. Supt
