William Harris Esq: Boston.

Dear Sir:

After due examination of care orders for 1873 I fail to find among them any order to top dress with manure Lots #1405 & 1403 for the fall of 1873.

We have however received an an order for the care & Top dressing of these two Lots for 1874

Mrs. Mary E. Nichols

I learn that Messrs. Knox & Angier are to place a curb around your Lot # 4289 this spring also that they are not to do the grading & sodding

Under these circumstances if you wish the Corporation to perform that part of the work &c: replacing the sods & finishing the grading &c please give an order to that effect

Very Respectfully
