Dear Madam
The order left here by you for the care of 2583 with the price named at $4.00 I must respectfully decline to execute. The price for care being fixed by the Trustees, it does not come within my province to alter them. Last year by our regular scale you would have been charged $8.00^for care where as you were charged only $5.00 owing to error made at some previous time. This year (1876) owing to the reduction in price the regular charge should be $7.00 for care. All that I can do is simply to make no alteration in the price at all. I return the card marked for your attention, and also an order in blank not doubting but the above will satisfactorily explain the state of care.
Very Respectfully J.W. Lovering Sup.t per Childs
Dear Sir
I enclose card, of blank order, for care of lot 3611.
The prices for care of lots of different sizes is fixed by the Trustees at $4.00 per year for a 300 ft lot, other lots being in proportion; which is a reduction of about 20% from prices heretofore charged. Heretofore you have been charged less than the regular rates which accounts for there being no change in the charge for 3611.
Very Respectfully J.W. Lovering Sup.t per Childs
