To paint & scrape the fence, in lot 1655 & put in 2 new posts [?] [?] will cost 25.00, and even, after this is done I fear the lot will not satisfy you. I will take away the old fence, put in corner posts & cut number and clean headstones without charge to you. We are removing fences + hedges as rapidly, as Prop^er authorize, as to do so, and are thereby improving the grounds as we are able. I strongly, advise you to have this fence removed rather than attempt to do anything to it

Note of June 19 enclosing order for care &c of Lot 4256 Dell Pa. is received. Also notice it is there stated that no care was taken of the lot last year- This is plainly a mistake for there is no question in the Gardeners mind that the lot had care plants in 1875.
