Dear Madam
57 Dwight St. B.
Your letter of even date herewith is this moment received. I can have the two graves mounded, and planted with myrtle, as you request but must strongly advise against mounding for various reasons. This manner of planting is very uncommon. It would be, almost, impossible to make myrtle so planted live because in a dry time the mound would be the first part of the surface to dry up, and this plant needs moisture to thrive, again after a year or two the growth of the myrtle would assume the form of, a mound.
We always prepare the ground by enriching it &c and plant the myrtle on a flat surface. To properly prepare & put in the myrtle will cost $7.00 per grave.
This I can have done very soon after receiving your decision.
Very Respectfully
