Apium Petroselinum. Or Common Parsley, every part of which is used, tho the root is the most efficacious and this is used in decoction; Dr Rush spoke highly of the seed as a usefull Diuretic in Dropsy, and I told am told that Dr Cornwell of this City has succeeded with it when every thing else had fail'd.

* In Preventing Abortion. I have know this prevent abortion in a Lady of this City who miscarried five successive times the Sixth pregnancy I put her on the use of Digitalis which she continued for several months and succeeded in bringing into the world a healthy child which I attributed to the use of Digitalis.
