Mrs J.C. Kittredge

Dear Madam

The foundations about which you asked at the office yesterday are placed exactly at the heads of the graves.

There is not room for another burial between the graves George Kittredge and the child's graves.

Probably a little more space can be made, if it is absolutely necessary to use that spot, by moving the brick grave where the child is buried as far as the lot extends, which might give room for another burial between tho' this is not certain.

Sometimes the catacombs are made deep enough for two burials, one above the other, separated by a brick slate shelf. A catacomb of this sort could be built and the remains of George Kittredge placed in the lower portion, or that grave could be left and the same thing done with the child's remains. The foundations could be made continuous and the stones placed side by side.

(Lot 842)

Respectfully J.W. Lovering
