His Excellency, Governor Sevier

Sir.

I have search'd the records and find, that Drury W Breazeale esqr. was licensed to practise law in the several County courts on the 14th of April last.

He has came forward with certificates from two of the Judges, and wishes to obtain a license to practise in the Supr court I herein incolse a blank for that purpose, provided you think it expe= dient to execute the same.

I do hereby certify that I have examined Drury W. Breazeale Esqr. and find him possessed of a competent share of knowledge of the Law to entitle him to the privilege of pleading in hte Severael Courts of Law and Equity in this State Given under my hand this 25th day of Feby. 1797
