Upon the petitions of the parties in interest representatives were designated for Lots as follows, viz; –

354 Annie B. Henshaw of Boston, daughter of Saml Henshaw, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Three hundred & fifty-four.

1233 Martha W. Smith of Waltham, widow of Perez Smith, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twelve hundred & thirty-three.

1638 Charles A. Phelps of Boston, son of Abner Phelps, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Sixteen hundred & thirty-eight.

2287 Nancy H. Fosdick of Charlestown, daughter of John Fosdick deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twenty-two hundred & eighty-seven.

2716 Thomas Gaffield of Boston, Guardian of one of the heirs of Nicholas Little deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twenty-seven hundred & sixteen Lot granted to "Henry T. Green Trustee."

2830 Joseph A. Veazie of Boston, son of Rachel F. Veazie, (Mrs Joseph) deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twenty-eight hundred & thirty.

3275. Thomas E. Chamberlin of Boston, son of Thomas Chamberlin deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Thirty-two hundred & seventy-five.

Voted, – that this meeting be adjourned to Wednesday, the , at 3-30 P.M.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

IN THE YEAR ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE

AN ACT

in addition to an act to incorporate the proprietors of the cemetery at Mount Auburn.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 1. The corporation known as the proprietors of the cemetery of Mount Auburn, may grant and convey to the heirs at law, devisees or trustees of any deceased person, any lot or lots, and additions to the same, in said cemetery, for the purpose of burial, or of erecting tombs, cenotaphs and other monuments in and upon the same, to be held by the grantees in accordance with the provisions of section eight of the act creating said corporation.

Section 2. Said corporation may grant and convey to any other corporate body, its successors and assigns, any lot or lots, and additions thereto, for the purposes aforesaid, which lot or lots, if containing more than three hundred square feet, may be represented by the president, treasurer, or such other officers as may be designated by such corporate body.
