was filled by the unanimous election of Messrs Gould & Crockett.
Mr G. W. Crockett was chosen Auditor of Accounts for the ensuing year
Treasurer's salary.
The Secretary laid before the meeting a letter from the Treasurer G.W. Bond in relation to his salary which was discussed and finally referred to a Committee of two consisting of Messrs Gould & Read to communicate with Mr Bond personally and to report at a future meeting.
Police at the Cemetery.
Voted. That Mr Gould and B.R. Curtis be a committee on the subject of employing Mr Bird as a police officer officially at the Cemetery.
The President, from the Committee on Lots made a verbal report in relation to the cost of a stone, brick and timber fence about the Cemetery; thereupon
Voted. To refer it to the Committee on Lots to take such measures as they deem proper in relation to the construction of a fence around the Cemetery and that they be authorized to contract for the erection of the same.

. At a meeting of the Garden & Cemetery Com. held at Dr. Bigelows, present. Mess. Gould, Bond, Brimmer, Bigelow, & Pratt.
Voted, that the surveying Committee have authority to grant the petition of Mess. Stone & Bird, also, that of Mess. Winship of Brighton, & to consider the petition of Mr. Otis Pettee of Newton.
Voted, that the Come of Surveys appropriate a portion of land for the purpose of depositing the remains of Miss Hannah Adams.
Gardener
Voted, that a Committee be appointed to confer with members of the Horticultural Society in regard to the selection of a suitable permit for Gardener, for the establishment at Mount Auburn. Voted, that a Committee of three be appointed, Z. Cook Jr} B. A. Gould} were chosen -- G W. Pratt}
