Roy Matheson and your Capt. Philloon (?) were friends, or classmates, or something at West Point.

We were so glad to have your father and mother with us and enjoyed every minute of their short visit. I hope they can come again before you leave Camp Kearny.

We were sorry not to be able to go to the Review. If it had been held on Washington's Birthday as
