Dear Sir,

I have made the inquiry which you requested of the Committee on Lots: viz for what sum the Corporation will assume perpetual care of lot 1611 in Mt Auburn Cemetery owned by Sarah K. Pierce.

The Committee have had a survey of the lot - have considered the question and instructed me to inform Mrs Pierce through you that will contract for the perpetual care of said lot for two hundred dollars.-

Your application to know for what sum this Cor poration will assume the per petual care of your lot no 840, in Mount Auburn Cemetery, has been duly considered by the Committee on Lots, who are authorized to make all contracts therefor; and they have instructed me to inform you that the Trustees will accept the trust for the sum of three hundred dollars.-

At the meeting of the Trustees held this day the following vote was adopted: -

"That hereafter, a charge of ten dollars be made to all parties on whose account the Chapel may be ordered to be heated. - "

Dear Sir,

Enclosed is the list of lots kept & to be kept in repair by the Corpn made up to date. All added in ink are since the date of your reports to which date your report extends [?] made [?] 4/67. Lots 840, 3040, and 3553 were contracted for between Oct. 1 '66 & Jany 1 '67. All the other properly belong to the Treasurer's report of increase for 1867, and amount in the aggregate to $2,762. The three lots referred to (840, 3040, 3553) amount to $1450 - making $4212 not embraced in your last report -

I also send printed list without the additions.

Contract for perpetual repair of Lot 840 _

The Secretary reported that the Committee on Lots had contracted for the perpetual care of the lot of the late James Hayward, numbered (840) eight hundred and forty for the sum of five hundred dollars.
