Monument to Mr Pitts

Voted. That the choice money for the lot purchased by Mr Francis on behalf of the subscribers for a burial lot and monument to _____ Pitts (who perished in ____ last on board the steamer Atlantic) be remitted.

Perpetual Repair of Lots in LAWRENCE Enclosure.

The Secretary read a communication from Amos Lawrence and brothers asking how much they must pay to have the Lawrence Enclosure kept in perfect repair through all time, and thereupon, after a general discussion of the subject, Voted. That the Secretary be instructed to inform the Messrs Lawrence that this Corporation will assume the care of their enclosure as a charge in perpetuity, according to the form adopted by the Trustees . for the sum of two thousand dollars.

The Secretary having made a statement in relation to the lot numbered 233. The following vote was adopted. Whereas Mrs Elizabeth Williams the present proprietor of the lot in the Cemetery of Mount Auburn numbered two hundred and thirty three, is desirous of making some provision for the proper maintenance care and repair of the same in its present condition through all
