Dr. C. F. Brooks, Bemis Medford.

Dear Sir: -

At the end of the grave furthest from Jonquil path the ground falls from rear to front two and one half inches in thirteen inches. I do not clearly understand your other questions, so enclose you a tracing showing the relative positions of the grave and monument now there, and I have no doubt you can get the desired information from that.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

#3295 - S

Messrs Jones Bros., Boston.

Dear Sirs: -

The price given you included, as the letter says, only the building of the foundation. If the Corporation sets the stone the charge will be $19.80,provided the stones are all delivered together.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Mrs. Mary A. Rice, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Dear Madam: -

Your note is received. I have had corner stakes put down on your lot in the location which seems to give the best effect from the corner of Crystal avenue and Jonquil path. The corner posts are level with the sod so that the actual lines for the lot do not determine the position of the monument as much as do the lines made by path and avenue. The slope of the land also modifies the position.

The enclosed sketch shows the location as now staked. Before building I think it would be well if some friend could come out to the Cemetery, and see the proposed location as it may strike others differently.

The cost of removing and resetting and leading the monument, building a new foundation, and changing the grade will be $115.00 (one hundred and fifteen dollars and seventy cents).

Respectfully yours,

J. W. Lovering Sup't. pr J.G.S
