Lot 222. Representative of.

Voted, that in accordance with the petition of the children and joint devisees of the late Joseph Tuckerman D.D. proprietor of lot no. 222 in the Cemetery, Mrs Sarah C. Becker of Cambridge, who is the nearest resident of the joint proprietors, be designated for the time being to represent said lot and vote at the meetings of this Corporation receiving a ticket of admission in that capacity until the further action of this board.

Lot 406. Perpetual Repair of.

In accordance with the request of Mr Levi Thaxter, the vote passed at the last meeting was amended so as to read thus.

Voted. That upon the application of Levi Thaxter of Watertown, this Corporation will contract to keep his lot no 406. in the Cemetery in perpetual repair upon the present payment to its Treasurer of the sum of four hundred dollars; it being understood that the said Thaxter has expressed the desire to keep said lot in repair duirng his own life, and that the liability of this Corporation therefor commences at the time of his death and that this Corporation is to be authorized by the contract to prohibit interments in said lot other than of the said Thaxter, himself, ^and the inmates of his family and his children and grandchildren and the ^immediate inmates of their several families.

Trustees.

H.B. Rogers His Comn resp'y surplus for preservaton of Tuckerman Mont, accepted.

The Committee on Lots to whom was referred at the last Meeting the proposal of Mr H. B. Rogers to pay over to the Corporation towards the preservation & repair of the Tuckerman monument ^lot 222 a surplus of $60.– remaining in his hands from the amount raised for the erection of of the same, submitted a report in favor of the acceptance of the above surplus for the purpose named.

Voted, – that the Report be accepted.

Spruce Av. } Acacia Path } Saffron Path } Memorial of Certain props on Referred to Com. on Grounds.

A Petition was received from certain proprietors of Lots on Spruce Avenue, Acacia Path and Saffron Path stating "that said Lots, by reason of insufficient drainage are frequently inundated so as to be almost inacessible except through standing water or slime, and are also greatly damaged in their appearance," and asking "that a suitable outlet may be made for the surplus water"

Voted, – that the aforesaid communication be referred to the Committee on grounds.

Statement of Treasr referred to Com. on Finance

The Treasurer having presented his reports and Statements of Accounts for the quarter ending; –

Voted, – that the Treasurer's Statements be referred to the Committee on Finance to consider and report.

Contracts for Perp. Rep. with Guaranty of Lots 98 & 2189, Reconveyance of Lot 2189,

The Secretary having stated that the Committee on Lots had recommended the Trustees to guaranty the perpetual repair of Lot No 98 on Cedar Avenue owned in common by Hannah Adams, (Mrs George W.), and the heirs of Wm Adams, for four hundred and fifty dollars; and of Lot No 2189 on Lime Avenue at the corner of Arbutus Path, belonging to Francis Bassett of Dennis, for the sum of Five hundred dollars, and
