Dear Edward. - It's a shame to waste this page - so I will just add a few lines of good wishes & to tell you we often think of you & speak of "Begoo" (?) & wish him "Bon chance" & all the other "Bon choses" that can come to him.

It was delightful to hear of your visit to Winchester -- We bicycled there from Southampton where we used to live, at least our house was at Woolston, but our church was at Southampton --

If you are ever there, please go & see some very dear friends of ours, the Heaths, they [illegible] be delighted [underlined] to see you -- The family consists of Mrs. Heath & several daughters (no longer young & pretty, but old parties like myself!) Mr. Heath, Dorothy's god. father [godfather] died recently -- the address is, "Finchess" [Finches] The Avenue - Southampton -- The house is near the Stag Gates -- With love from us all, yours affectly [affectionately?]
