twenty years; but they presume that, compounded as it would be annually, it would not fall much short, if any, of the amount of Capital deposited. At the expiration of that period; the Corporation would be possessed of a Capital of nearly two hundred thousand dollars, the income of which would probably defray the current expenses. If however our successors should find that the current expenses increase so considerably as to excite their apprehensions that the income of two hundred thousand dollars would be insufficient, they will undoubtedly take seasonable measures to enlarge the Capital, by increasing the annual deposits

Boston Fire Department's Communication _ Referred to Comee on Lots _

A written communication from the Boston Fire Department addressed to the President was presented – inquiring upon what terms this Corporation would sell said Association several thousand feet of land in the Cemetery.

Voted that the same be referred to the Committee upon Lots with full power. ~

Concerning Lease of privilege near Gate _

A written communication was received from Mr Mann the Superintendent, respecting the lease of a privilege on land near the entrance to the Cemetery for the convenience of visitors.

Voted to refer the same to the Committee upon Grounds to report thereon. _
