aren't here for any pillow fights. Also there would be no such speechs [speeches] as "can't you squeeze tighter" from me. So don't be foolish.

What's the object of "This be not a bid" on the envelope?

What do you think of me winning a cup in a tennis tournament? Well I did yesterday in one that two of the boys got up. We had swell fun. It was just around the corner at Kaimsand. Henry Stearns and I won. He's a swell player and of course did the winning but I helped. The cups are awfully cute, as so is Henry.

We played nine sets altogether and I was never so tired last night.

After the tournament Henry, Robert Staaz and Warren Lincoln came over and bummed around till nearly dinner time.

We had a swell time Thanksgiving. Saw the "Quaker Girl" that night and "Old Homestead" the next. Then we went to a baseball game and driving and riding so that we did something all the time. Saturday we went for a swell ride in Ruth Black's motor. We had swell run. Saw all the Flying A's.

As ever

Doris.
