Dear Sir,
Your explanations for my inquiries about certain lots were recd. I fear there is still some error -- for if you give 3423 to Agnes R. Phelps, Snowdrop Path, it leaves only four consecutive numbers for Mr Read's ^five lots, viz. 3419-20-21-22.
As there is always great liability to troublesome errors in reporting and making changed, and as several have occurred much to the disfigurement of the record, I beg leave to say that I prefer, if you have no objection, to seek explanation of difficult matters in your department, directly of you, instead of "asking Fred", as mature heads are required to bear the responsibility.
Please observe the accompanying order for Mr Marsh.
Very truly yours

Dear Sir,
I have just recd the reply of the Committee on Lots in answer to the inquiry for what sum the Corporation will assume the Perpetual Care of Lot no. 3324.
The amount they name is six hundred and fifty dollars ($650) -- which is less than I expected.
If you will call in the afternoon of almost any day, it will be a little better time for you, as we shall be less likely to be interrupted by calls. --
Yours truly
A. J. Coolidge Secretary
