World War I Collection

of going to Texas this summer have a position offered to me on board a transport will come thru the canal & land in S.F. August. my cousin is first officer, having left the P.M. Co. sometime a-go, on the side he captains a revenue cutter, he has written to me and told me all about it, seems like a snap.

Was talking to a girl from Stanford and she has heard a lot of you thru the Kelloggs & yous truly & she has a friend coming to visit from S. during the Easter vacation, & we have planned to have a joint party, little ragging session. So you want to be sure and be here you've never paid me a visit and I want you ever so much, more so than "O.K.' Must close have to take a bunch [of – crossed out] over to Carmel to-night, some show in their open theatre write soon & tell me just what day you'll be here so I can meet you – Thats how sure I am of your coming. From what I hear H.M.A. has some school this year, guess my prep days are over am going to enter college next year as a special, think Stanford, am not sure yet.
