I've seen some beautiful ball games, and it's too bad this war has come to spoil 'em all. It may not interfere so much, though, unless they conscript the ball players. The American League teams drill regularly and look fine in action. Bats are used for guns.
Well, Edward, I'll have to close this up now, and take Mr. Virgil on for a session. That old bird sure did write snappy Latin. He's almost as good at Latin as Al Joy is at English.
